Where I've Been

Late on Christmas Day I found out my uncle passed away.

The strange part is when he went to the hospital he did not leave any record of next of kin. So by the time we found out the coroner's office was prepared to bury him as an indigent and sell off his few remaining assets at auction.

The even stranger part is our phone number was taped to his telephone and they never called us.

So I've shuttled down to So Cal to arrange for the disposition of the remains and tie up the loose ends.

There is much more to this story, which I will tell in time.

Just to say, blogging hasn't been priority for me lately.
