Anne Coulter Rehabiltated

After a semi-exile, Ann Coulter is back and working the circuit. First she goes on Good Morning America and says, “if I’m going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I’ll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.”

Then she is on Chris Matthew's Hardball while taking a call from Elizabeth Edwards, who asks politely asks Coulter to stop the personal attacks bcause it lowers our political dialogue precisely at the time that we need to raise it.

The final exhcange went like this:

E: …the language of hate, and I’m going to ask you again to politely stop using personal attacks as part of your dialogue.

C: Okay, I’ll stop writing books.

E: If you can’t write them without them, that is fine.

The problem is Counter can't write her books (or open her trap) without the bilious blabber she is famous for spewing, it's her thing, her schtick, her raison d'etre. The old saw of,"If you don't have anyhing nice to say, then don't say anything at all." Juz' plain doesn't work for her.

That's why she's back. It's infotaiment mascarading as information.
